Combining Mediterranean forest and creative energies, the Domaine de Verdagne is becoming an open-air artistic residence this summer.
From 9 to 25 July 2025, ART CAMP is becoming a collaborative graphic micro-festival, spearheaded by artists from the BACA collective : XXL frescoes, open workshops, installations in situ, drawings of aperitifs, DJ sets and visual performances.
An opportunity to create, ask questions and have fun, in a place where nature and creation live side by side.
The Verdagne programme? Graphic immersion
The BACA collective takes over the Domaine for an active artistic residency : Every day, something is designed, built, exhibited or shared.
With BACA, continuously:
- Creation of a monumental fresco on the façades of the Domaine
- Participatory workshops on lettering, stencilling and collage.
- Expo in progress : the works accumulate, the scenography evolves
- Workshops for children and adults, introduction to street art techniques
- Improvised conferences and process sharing between artists and audiences
And the atmosphere
- DJ sets under the pines & live electro music at the end of the day
- Apéritif sketching and visual jam sessions
- Open-air mini preview with live performance & projection
- Chill out in the art zone in the pine forest with tote bags, prints and other goodies to create
A festival combining nature and graphic culture
Where does it take place?
At Domaine de Verdagne, a natural spot just a stone's throw from Gassin. Under the pine trees and around the lodges, art permeates every nook and cranny. An artistic base camp in the middle of the garrigue, halfway between playground and testing ground.
Come and spend the day, strolling among the works, or contribute to one of the ongoing frescoes. Entrance is free, and so are the paintbrushes.
BACA Collective x Domaine de Verdagne
BACA is a collective of artists with a wide range of styles, united by the desire to create, share and shake up the status quo, driven by bubbling energy and a love of graphic design in all its forms.
This summer, they're making the Domaine de Verdagne their field of exploration : a place where art is created to the rhythm of nature, combining frescoes in the making, shared workshops and time to stop and stare.
